Elena Cappanera

is an italian Cinematographer and Editor living in Brooklyn, New York. She has traveled internationally, working on several media projects for companies such as Hogan, BMI Publishing,
United Nations, Digicel, Pegeout, MPG Media Planning Group etc.

She attended the Film Academy "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia” in Rome, where she received a degree as a Director of Photography. Additionally, for a more international approach to film, she graduated from the esteemed New York Film Academy (NYFA), completing their two-year Filmmaking Program in New York.

In the past three years Elena has been teaching Cinematography and Editing at the New York Film Academy at their campuses in Florence, Paris and Miami.

At the moment she is completing the editing of a 13 episode investigative journalism news TV Show named “Onel Sanford-Belle presents”. This program is produced and directed by Onel Sanforbelle,
who was nominated “Best Journalist of the 2014” at the Antony N. Sabga Caribbean Awards for Excellence.
