5TH KINOOKUS FFF STARTS TODAY!

The fifth edition of the international Food Film Festival starts today with the opening ceremony at the main square in Ston at 8.30 pm.

A unique film festival dedicated to food and industrial food production issues is taking place in Ston between 3rd and 7th September under the general topic “Taste of Surprise”. All sections offer to the festival guests and visitors numerous audio visual and flavorful surprises through which the organizers would like to draw attention to the burning issues of our time like drastic reducing of biodiversity or present climate changes.

The work of art opening the film programme, under which live action and documentary, short and feature length films will be competing for the Large and Small Oyster, will be discovered by the audience only at the very opening.
After the film screening the guests and visitors from Croatia and abroad will be enjoying the snacks by the caterers from Ston and majestic wine from 13 family wineries from Pelješac.

The Kinookus bus, free of charge, leaves for Ston at 7.30 pm from Pile, Dubrovnik.

In case of unfavourable weather conditions the opening programme will take place at the Rector’s Palace in Ston.
