Velika nagrade

In the open-air cinema in the Arcimon Fortress the closing ceremony with tasting of wine from the family wineries from Ponikve closed the sixth edition of the Ston festival dedicated this year to the spiritual dimension of food. The Large Oyster was awarded to the documentary film Smokings by the Italian director Michele Fornaser, and the Small Oyster for the best short film was awarded to Kokoška by the Croatian director Una Gunjak.

The sixth edition of Kinookus FFF will be remembered after a very interesting film programme, the meeting of the representatives of the religious communities, the guest chefs JP McMahon, Xavier Hamon and Richard Gruica, the guest baker Julien Floch and the so far most affluent sections Cinexperiment and Cinelocus.

At the sixth edition a new section Taste the Screen was launched and the exhibition Bread atop of the Round Bread was organised thanks to which the Festival established the cooperation with Jadranka Ničetić and Ivana Oraić Rabušić, PhD, from the Institute for the Croatian Language and Linguistics.

With yet another successful edition the oldest active food film festival in Europe gained new friends across the world confirming the status of the original formula of valuing particularities of a specific territory.
