A three-day workshop within the framework of the European project CINE – Cinema Communities for Innovation, Networks and Environment will be held on 30 June, 1 and 2 July 2021 in the premises of the Summer Cinema Sutivan in Brač. The aim of the workshop is to train 10 educators who will master the technical knowledge and skills for making short films by using a mobile phone, and acquire organisational capabilities for working with the young.
The workshop programme will provide guidance to the young people for the creative process and realization of a short film by using digital technique of a mobile phone. Free use of technical equipment (smart phones, microphone, stand, etc.) is provided to all the workshop participants.
The programme is carried out by Mobile Film Festival experts from Paris. They are two directors with years of experience in the area of film education and youth work.
The language of the workshop is English.
Number of places is limited.

The two-year European project CINE – Cinema Community for Innovation, Networks and Environment primarily aims to bring film into communities where cinemas do not exist or are disappearing while fostering the role of cinemas as cultural and social hubs where new generations of film audiences will be developing.
The project is run by Slow Food (Italy), and the partners are the Association Cinemabiente (Italy), Cinema Boaro and Cinema Vittoria (Italy), City of Cherasco (Italy), Mobile Film Festival (France) and Association Kinookus (Croatia) with the support of the Municipality Sutivan. The project is financed by the European Commission pilot project funds (Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology) “Cinemas as Innovation Hubs for Local Communities”.
