The purpose of the project is to point out the value of agricultural production that exists in the cross-border region of Dubrovnik, on the one side, and Herzegovinian municipalities near the border with the Croatian on the other side. With the introduction of modern methods in business, applying new technologies in production and communications, constantly contacts with distributors will provide better and efficient business of local farmers. Raising awareness of the producers of the need of joint appearance on the market will create a much better economic situation in the project region.
Objectives of the project are strengthening the cross-border rural economic development and competitiveness of typical regional agriculture production sector. This will be possible through capitalization of agriculture heritage in Dubrovnik-Herzegovina cross-border area and stimulating access to regional and EU markets for local agriculture producers.
