Séverine Petit


Séverine was born in Corsica, in 1978. After reading Diplomatic and Political Science, she pursued her interest in food and started working for the international grassroots organization Slow Food where she became Head of African projects.

After Slow Food, she focused on cinema, finding and selecting films and documentaries for the official selection of the Festival Slow Food on Film in Bologna (Italy) and international short films for Festival Cinema Corto in Bra (Italy). Séverine has also worked in production.

She collaborated on a documentary Slow Food Story produced by the Italian production company, Indigo Film. Séverine regularly blogs on documentaries about food, food-making and environment (edibledocs.wordpress.com). She collaborates with Cinexperience section of the Kinookus FFF.
